Tuna noodle casserole

I learnt this recipe at a Community centre, when I was a new mother.  This program " Cooking healthy together" teaches the new mothers, how to cook healthy for the kids.  It was like a club, where all the women, new mothers gather and cook together, enjoy the food cooked and have a good time sharing cooking experiences and chatting. This is a quick and easy recipe.  Favourite among kids. It has all the four food groups mentioned in the Canada's food guide.  It has protein from chicken and tuna ,  fibre from vegetables, carbs from noodles, and dairy from cheese. It's a wholesome food,  kids just can't stop eating....
Tuna noodle casserole
Tuna- 1/2 can
Noodles- 1 cup, cooked as per the directions on the pack
Campbells chicken soup - 1/2 can
Green peas - 2tbsp
Carrots- 1 chopped
Onions - 1 chopped
Cheese - 4 tbsp grated
Oil - 1 tsp

Pour oil in a pan and add the vegetables, onions, carrots, green peas, saute until onions are translucent and carrots are slightly cooked. Add the tuna and fry for some more time. season it with salt and pepper.
Grease the casserole and put the cooked noodles, sauted vegetable and chicken soup. Mix it well , add little water if necessary, and top it with grated cheese. Bake it in the oven at 350deg for 20 mins or until the cheese melts and forms a cheesy crust.
