Chicken pakoda

The Chicken pakoda served at" Fedricks, haka chinese " restuarant is so good and cannot be beat. Most of my friends shared their own chicken pakoda recipes, but nothing is as close to that restuarant's pakoda. Several times, I tried that recipe and failed miserably. Finally, I came up with this recipe which is nearly close. Chicken pakoda on a rainy day is sooo.. good!


Chicken pakoda
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1lb boneless
onions- 1 chopped
Green chillies - 3 chopped
coriander - 2 tbsp chopped
Maida/ all purpose - 2 tbsp
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Garam masala pwd - a pinch
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
egg - 1
Salt
Food colour - optional
Oil for frying


Method:
 step 1:  Take onion,green chillies, coriander , ginger garlic paste, egg and lemon juice in the processor and blend to make a paste and keep aside. 
step 2:Take the chicken peices in a bowl and add salt, all purpose, corn flour, rice flour, garam masala pwd, food colour and mix well until well coated. Add the blended paste and  mix well and marinate for 30 mins.
step 3: Heat oil in a pan and deep fry until golden brown.
serve hot.
