Vegetable stir fry

Adding lot of vegetables to your daily diet is very important. Vegetables contain number of essential nutrients and fibre .Our body needs fibre to help cleanse, get rid of waste and toxins. Vegetables keep bowel movements regular, lowers cholesterol, prevents constipation and other illnesses .

Add variety, and different coloured vegetables to your diet. Different vegetables contain different minerals, nutrients and antioxidants and therefore, it is recommended that we consume a wide variety, to receive the benefits from the various types. Cooking the vegetables for too long will destroy the essential nutrients.
This recipe needs minimum amount of cooking time and minimum amount of spice ingredients.


Ingredients:
Mix vegetables - 2 cups, from the choice of broccoli florets, baby carrots, miniature corn, mushrooms, cauliflower, beans, sugar snaps, all coloured peppers etc
Onions - 1 sliced
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt
Sabzi ka masala - 1 tsp

Method:
Heat the wok, pour oil, add onions and fry until translucent.  Add mix vegetables and  stir fry on high heat. let all the water from the vegetables evoporate.  Add salt and sabzi ka masala and mix it thoroughly. The entire process of stir frying should not take more than 5 mins, as we don't want to over cook the vegetables.
