Fruity meatballs

While I was working for a day care, Fruity meatballs were served for the kids for lunch. The daycare gets the food from a catering company. They made it really appealing for the kids. All the meat balls were gone in a flash... I tried one and figured out all the ingredients and their method.  I tried to make it at home and it turned out just the same. Now, I serve this for my kids. The taste is  kind of sweet and tangy. They just love it. I used M&M meat balls in this recipe. Basically,  they are tasteless and can blend well into any kind of dish/ sauce.  If you have your very own home made meatballs, just go ahead and try...

Fruity meatballs
Ingredients:
Meat balls - 15/20 no.
ketchup - 2 tbsp
Pine apple chunks - 2 tbsp
Pine apple juice - 2 tbsp
soy sauce 1 tbsp
brown sugar 1tbsp
honey - 1 tsp

Method:
Place the frozen meat balls in a pan and pour over the pine apple juice and chunks and cook until  the meatballs are defrosted and swelled. In a small bowl mix ketchup, soysauce, brown sugar, and honey and stir it, until it is well blended and sugar has melted. Pour over the meat balls and cook. Allow the sauce to reduce and thicken. Garnish with fresh pineapple and Serve.
