Chicken is most popular item  around  the world . Cooked in various methods . We  enjoy every bit of it whether it is cooked into curry,  made into kebabs, broiled, grilled, roasted or barbequed. We cannot get enough of it, nor we can get bored of it.  Here is an interesting chicken item made with white sauce.  I had this chicken item at a Srilankan  restuarant and I loved it instantly and my kids loved it too  because it is milder in taste, with lots of coconut flavour.

Ingredients:
 Boneless Chicken - 1lb
Coconut powder - 3 tbsp
yogurt  - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 tsp
Onions -  2  - one diced and sauted and one sliced
Green chillies  - 3 sauted
Garam masala whole  -1 tsp.  ( includes  cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, shahi jeera, bay leaf)
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Oil  - 3 tbsp
Salt
Pepper

Method:
Saute the onions and green chillies in few drops of oil .

In a blender add sauted onions,  green chillies,  yogurt, coconut powder,  rice flour, salt and pepper blend it together to make a paste. Keep this aside.

wash and cut the chicken in pieces and keep them ready.

Pour oil in a pan add whole garam masala and add sliced onion, curry leaves fry till onions are translucent, add ginger garlic paste and fry for few seconds, Add the chicken pieces and fry them till lightly brown.

Add the blended mixture.
allow it to cook until  the chicken  and sauce is well cooked to infuse the flavours.
