Lemon Chicken

This recipe will be loved by all the little ones. It's colourful, appetizing, and It's sweet and sour, mouth watering, tangy taste entices them. Since it's boneless, there is less work for them to chew. I didn't use MSG in this recipe. For that matter, I never use MSG in my recipes.



Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 lb, Boneless, cut into bite size pieces
Cornstarch - 2 tbsp
All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
Salt
Pepper
Food colour - yellow
Garlic pwd - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Eggs - 3
Oil for frying
Lemon slices - for garnish

Ingredients for Lemon Sauce
Water - 1/2 cup
Lemon juice - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Cornstarch - 3 tbsp
Honey - 3 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Food colour - yellow


Method:

Combine cornstarch, all purpose flour, garlic pwd, food colour lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add eggs and mix it well. Add the chicken pieces. Marinate for atleast 30 mins. Fry chicken peices in oil for about 5 minutes until golden and keep it in a seperate bowl.

Lemon sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Mix it well, making sure there are no lumps, and sugar is melted. Cook over medium heat, stirring, about 5 minutes until sauce boils and starts to get thicken. Pour over chicken, toss it well  until all the chicken pieces are coated with sauce. Garnish with lemon slices and serve.
