Ingredients:
Lamb meat - 1 lb
Onions - 2 sliced
Tomato - 1 big
green chillies - 2 chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Coconut - 1 tbsp grounded paste
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Garam masala whole - 1 tsp ( mix of cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, shahi jeera etc)
Chilli pwd - 2 tsp
Salt
Coriander pwd - 2 tsp
Turmeric pwd - a pinch
Oil
Coriander leaves for garnish
Method:
Take a pan and pour oil, add the whole garam masala and fry.
Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, continue to fry,add the meat and saute for 10 mins. Add chilli pwd, coriander pwd, salt, and turmeric pwd and mix well. Put the lid and cook until the meat is tender. Add 1/4 cup water if necessary. Add the tomatoes, coconut paste and simmer on slow flame. The gravy starts thickening once you add the coconut paste.It's done, when the oil starts to float on top. Garnish and serve hot with roti or rice.
